FAILURE IS A *******

Are u guys trying to find out wat the asteriks mean??Scroll Down if u r too impatient to wait.. Well!!u guys ll soon agree to wat i mean by tat title..Now i ve decided not to fill up lines by sayin why i dint blog fr a long time coz one of my frens feel tat half of my post is filled by tat only..I jus came across this picture of Dravid taken during the World cup which unfortunately turned out to be a disaster for us..We can clearly see some photography gimmicks on it jus to show tat he was crying in tat match where we lost against the Lankans.Wat struck me most was not the picture but the gruesome fact tat follows it..Dravid,who has always been nations pride, a person whom Indians have always been proud of..They had infact risen him to level of being called " THE WALL" of Indian cricket..Wat happened to all those slogans which people carried about Dravid?? How cud people lose all their hopes against a man whom they called the WALL so easily..It is as if his lifetime s hardwork was judged by jus one single match..

I know WORLD CUP s soon gonna end..So why am i blogging on this topic now??Tats becos
its not jus one incident , i can quote ,many such incidents where i ve time n again felt tat

" SUCCESS HAS MANY FATHERS
BUT
FAILURE IS A BASTARD"

When u succeed there ll be umpteen number of people to back u up and let u know their imperceptible contributions to it..But wen u fail the same set of people ll run away jus to hide
the fact they were also responsible in ur failure..When we were winnning a series of tournaments people felt they had selected the right captain and it was their decision tat was working out. They felt it was because we had some experienced players like Sachin, Dravid n Ganguly we were among the top teams..N nw if u all remember these are the same people (who call themselves cricket fanatics or ardent fans of cricket) who carried mock funerals of the players who have given their life for Indian Cricket..Never did anyone think tat when we, jus an audience who are miles away from them n fr whom this game is jus an entertainment for a day can get so upset by the defeat, how agonising it must ve been for the players ..The whole county was against them.. The fact is , we don deserve to be called as true fans..Fans r supposed encourage the players during their tuff times..The players don want us to cheer for them wen they r already piling up centuries..They don expect us to celebrate their victory..Wat they expect is a motivation wen they are down..
I know it was just a game n Indians ve forgotten all those defeats and are awaiting a fresh new series..I jus wanted to substantiate the fact wt some incident..Cud nt think of a better example having seen all the criticism Dravid has faced..But the sad part is that Life is always like tat..There are certain things in life tat can seldom change, so the best way is we abide by the fact and move on..

Singara Chennai-the place to be.....

Chennai-The place reminds one of life filled with fun, peace and happiness,am sure every chennaiite will agree with that and so will the non-chennaiites, especially the northies who may curse the conservatism or the south-indian food or the autowallahs initially, cannot help but start liking this place.
Despite the tsunami, the sea has not failed to attract crowd, moreover no juhu beach can match the marina or our own bezzie. The city has seen only three types of climates,warm..warmer... warmest. It hardly rains here, yet when it does rain, man doesn't it rain heavily flooding the whole city, postponing exams(take it from me, students love the rains here!).
The autowallahs charging at alarming rates always using the fuel hikes as an excuse. One would always wonder why do they have a meter at all that jus never seems to work.
A bangalorean or a mumbaiite may criticise the conservatism in the city, cos late night parties or dating are a rare sight and are usually frowned upon, atleast parents no longer worry about kids getting spoiled, and what the heck there's more to life than some stupid parties.
The chennai roads are famous for their bumps and even more famous are the road users, especially the cyclists and the autowallahs who always find the roads to be the perfect platform to showcase their gymnastic talents and the way they yell at each other in the rush hour traffic is really amusing if one has the mood to watch.Being a two-wheeler rider can either increase your capacity to be patient or shoot up your BP levels.
All said and done this is such a peaceful place, atleast we don have to worry about any religiuos riots breaking out or sudden bombings killing innocent lives.
Where else in India can you witness the pakistan cricket team receiving a standing ovation from the crowd, for beating India,in a close test match. That's the spirit of the cricket supporters in this city, the only interruption for a cricket match can be caused is through RAIN,everyone knows the affair between cricket and rains in this city.Kris Srikanth once joked that one way to bring rains to chennai is to schedule a cricket match here, rain will follow soon;-)
How can i not mention the famous Metro water, there's this tamil movie song in the film May Madham where a line goes "Madrasin Hero athu Metro water...".It's amazing to see how ppl swarm up the metro water lorry with their plastic containers fighting for the water.
On the whole, chennai will always remain as the place to live life peacefully and have fun!
Apart from commenting on the post do answer the question:-
What's the one thing you love about the city and what's the one thing you hate about the it???
