Pause for a while!!Give it a thought!!

Hello everybody,
I knw its quite suprising to see me posting something so soon when my prev posts s jus two days old..Anyways Revs reminded of somethin wch i ve been plannin to do fr a very long time - 'To post something on social issue..
I ve been plannin it fr quite a while bt somehow i cud never try my hands on it coz i felt "wats the point in doing it??" Is it really gonna change anything??Not even a bit..But today am writing on it jus to take out all my anger n my frustations..I know this post is not gonna be a thought-provoking one coz its about something wch am sure all of us have certainly thought about but ve done nothin!!So its no different n not gonna provoke anything..For my own sake i wud continue writing.. I wud jus give my own bitter experience which in itself will serve as the best example fr wat am plannin to pen down..
I got up as usual at 9 o clock in the morning expecting an exciting day ahead..Went to a near-by shop(its a proper restaraunt) fr a tea..I saw a group of boys(4 of them) sittin there..The moment i stepped in they said somethin abt me..Then they kept starin at me..I knew tat..I jus tried to ignore them n went to a shop to buy some stuff n i saw tat these guys were following me thr too..Ths time i pretended to ignore them n started walkin towards my treet..To my suprise i found them there also..I was scared,cud feel shivers runnin all over..I cud nt ignore them..so went n complained ths to my neighbour..Seein me doin ths, these guys went inside the flat adjacent to my house..I went upstairs wt tht uncle where i found out tat these guys were some bachelors stayin in tat apartment..These people wen being questioned, bluntly said tat it was "their house" n they were jus tryin to get back home..I was perplexed and dumbstruck..I knew i was teased by them but jus because i was fallin short of a proper proof i had to take back all my complaints..I was clueless..I dint know how to react..I Pitied my plight.This was yet another incident of its types which i constantly face..Only difference was-i tried raising up against it this time without knowing tat i wud end up fallin into an abyss..
Now coming on to the issue..I guess this kind of eve-teasing is no new to anyone. everyone of us must ve experienced or atleast heard of this..Its jus this typical social crime of "eve-teasing " as u fondly call them , where the perpetrators and victims are ordinary people..But worst part is its being wrote about as a victimless crime..Any issue of its kind surfaces only when something prominent happens..People agree tat a gal is bein harassed only wen they find a few cuts or wounds on her body..But believe me its the mental harassement tat is more worse coz here even the people r not ready to believe tat somethin bad must ve really happened.(just because we r nt able to prove it)..I guess its high time people understood tat anything tat is done to a woman without her consent is equal to a RAPE..Tat includes following her, staring at her..Am not trying to be a feminist but i just want to make a point to all m fellow frens who are boys "Please do educate ur frenz ,tell them not to indulge in these things n make our existence even more difficult.. Understand that God made men and women equal, and that girls have as much right to respect as boys.."..Chennai is such big place n yet we fall short of some lil space to live happily n peacefully.. If I walk alone on the street after dusk I ve a fear of being harassed to the point of danger..If i go in a auto i ve the fear of auto drivers abductin me and sellin me into slavery..I mite sound very dramatic but i hope u all know the case of Auto Shankar.. One must admit that these eve-teasing is most certainly perpetuated by its continued glory in movies..It might be possible in movies -tat a hero frst harasses a gal n then this gal starts lovin him..Guys jus spare us.Please make a decent n an honest attempt to woo us..These kind of actions only scare us..Jus because there s no easy way of rounding up everyone concerned with this, all these crimes are increasing at an exponential rate with passing years..Now a time has come where its extremely difficult to pick out those handful of good men from the whole lot of bastards.. Changing this behaviour is easier said than done. However, if things are left alone, they could hardly get better..
At this moment I wud want to heartily thank all those women who r into prostitution..Yes u
heard tat rite!!I dunno if u wd agree wt me..Bt I feel they r doin a very good job to da society..Had it not been for them all those people who crowd the red-light areas daily
wud not find an outlet to release their lust..Think of the condition of all women, all girls walkin on the roads..An Indian guy wud never hav got a chance to marry a workin woman with her virginity..Coz every gal walkin on the roads after dusk wud ve been their victims..By writing all this, I don proclaim that all women are very good and all men are very bad. I knw there is a good mixture of good and bad tat does exist..Only because of tat we are able to live on..Even today there were a few boys amongst of my frens who gave me their oulders to cry,consoled me n helped me face the situation..N of course i don deny -there are some gals who try seducing guys..Well my answer to tht is - Guys,Jus go n try on them..Spare us!!

I wonder how many years its gonna be before women earn their due respect in the society from all men. We have the patience and endurance and we shall wait!! Jus tell us where s the end!!

P.s- I know ths post was pretty much on its lengthier side..Having read it fully i want all of u to drop ur comments.. I jus want to know wats ur take on it??

REVIEW...

Well!! after a pretty decent break fr almost a month its me back again with some wierd thoughts which is nt worth a post..But then u guys gotta bear wit it coz if i keep waiting fr some good idea to strike up on my brain n tat i put it down on ths blog i would end up waiting forever..Nw there s nothin much to write about why i dint blog all these days... I was a lil busy with the project n my mom n my sis had come down..n i had to go fr some shoppin wt them n i had my cycle tests....OMG..Forget it!!was too lazy to do it.. One good thing i did all these dayz was i saw many good movies..The best way to njoy ur final semester..:)..Nw am gonna jus brush up my memories n give a brief review of the TOP 3 movies i saw till today..(startin frm Jan 07)..i ve never been a movie buff..n always watch movies wen they make an exit from everyone s minds..well i guess my frst movie fr 2007 was "CAST AWAY"..yeah !!u read tat rite..The Tom Hanks one..Heard frm my blogmate tat its a damn good movie..n it indeed was..Tom Hanks deserves every piece of appreciation for tat movie..Wat i really loved about it was unlike in other English movies whr we ve so many star casts n so many good locations,nice costumes to look upon it had Tom n only him in a no-man's island..It dint ve any sexy-blonde who cud keep us glued on to the screen..No music other than the gushy sounds of the water..Yet was an Oscar nomination..n hey the WILSON..the scenes of Tom wit Wilson were too good..I still wonder hw can a person act so well wen thr s noone bt a ball whom he s talkin to..Hats off to it..No villan ,no heroine!!The movie revolved in n around one single person n cud still maintain the pace fr 2 lon hrs..Tom holds the whole credit fr the movie n the director who cud think n take a movie lik ths n bring out the talent so well outta of the actor..
"Guru"-Mani Ratnam..A much hyped movie..Again its a Mani Ratnam movie..So thr s jus no questions n arguments on tat coz its supposed to ve Mani Sirs tuch on it..A Midas tuch..Nayagan,Roja,Kannatil Muttamittal..U knw i can jus go on n on..Every movie in itself is a masterpiece when its gotta a name MANI RATNAM associated wit it..Guru was no exception.. Abhishek looked good though he had some negative shades to his character..It takes a lot to take out a movie on a real-life giant..Though ppl call it as an inspiration from lives of Mr.Ambani n few other big Bosses of business everyone of us knw it was abt Mr Dhirubhai Ambani n only him..No inspiration n crap..It showed us tht evrthying is right till it does good to a few people..A "Utalitarian" point of view.!!.On the part of acting it had 2 big ppl of the industry..Mr.AB jr n Mrs.AB jr(to be)..The music by Rehman was exceptionally good other than lil problems wt the lyrics..Sorry all Gulzar fans..Am yet to find a meanin fr "Tere Bina" song..The music was too good n Rehaman once again proved tat He s SIMPLY THE BEST..There were a few things wch i found went off the track..eg the last scene..I felt the argument was nt convincing enough to take back all charges against him..Bt then thr are some major flaws in day to day life..Its after all a movie..
N nw the recent flick-"MOZHI"..It topps the chart...it is the best example for the fact that a clean and decent entertainment still sells..Mozhi is a musical love story. It is very light hearted and at the same time, intense portrayal of love between a musician and a deaf and dumb girl.Sounds intersting rite??Yes its a story of a musician who tries to woo a deaf n dumb girl..Though the story is along expected lines, the cast and other technicians make this movie worthy... Jo is the central character, but the others prithviraj, prakash raj and swarnamalya have equal part. In fact the best part of the movie was tht everyone had a part ,a role to play..They did not appear fr the sake of it bt for it..It takes courage n convictions to take up a path tht is so diff frm the usual..Prakashraj consistently did tat wit Duet movies and translated the dreams of creators into realities everytime..Be it AZAGIYA THEEYE wch happens to be the only fav movie till date of my very good fren..N KANDA NAAL MUDAL..Every movie maintains a level of decency, composure..Inshort every movie is ultimately a feel good movie..It reflects the larger than life person Prakash Raj is..Someone who can dare to dream big n turn those into realities..In the world of cinema wch is completely filled up wt Glamour, masala,skin shows ,MOZHI took a diff path..Even if you don't like the movie, i bet you'll end up learning atleast the basics of sign language. Jyothika as Archana steals the show..Wit every movie passing by we can see her growing as an actress..With myraid shades of performances we can find a phenomenal change in her acting prowess..She is deaf, she is mute. But she makes all of us talk volumes about her performance..The best thing about the movie was tat it did not over-sentimentalise the handicaps..Rather than making us all sympathise towards handicaps it showed us they do not need our sympathy.They only need a helping hand , a push from behind to move ahead n lead a healthy ,productive life..There was no gender bias. Thankfully for once, women are portrayed as being absolutely on par with the men .Intelligent n Independent..The charcters in the movie were so professional tat in first few minutes u start gettin a feelin tat JO is deaf n dumb n u wish tat u were a part of the movie..MOZHI offers a fresh and wonderfully modern perspective to relationships between 'normal' human beings for a change, and not glamorous superstars capable of superhuman feats...Delicate humaor,soft music n many such nuances makes the movie much more interesting..The direction by Radha Mohan is flawless,..Prithviraj s subtle performance definitely calls for appreciation... He was a very good eye-vitamin for all gals in the theatre..Besides this the grand sets, Jo's,Karthik's house were too good..Music by Vidyasagar keeps u tuned..N the violin made of pears soap is strikingly good..Prakash Raj s perfect blend of subtle wit n strong character is yet an another strong point of the movie..Swarnamalya s acting was up to the mark..I guess i shud stop being a critic now..
In short Mozhi is a clean entertainer that strongly justifies the tagline tat “It is not the expression, but the emotion.” Indeed!!!
People jus go for it..I went to ths movie wit all my class mates 52 of us wit all trials n tribulations wch made it even more remarkable...
Tats all wit my reviw of movies..There r few others wch i enjoyed bt these were worth mentionin..People in case u ve not seen these movies esp MOZHI please do watch n drop in ur comments In ths post..
Lets tat atleast drives me to come up wit some more posts..:)..
I guess my classmates wud ve confused the title wt the project review we ve onMonday..Bt as usual u can never expect Vids to write abt some sensible crap..
